Our current promotion does not include the installation fee. However, the installation fee is ranging from RM150 – RM250 per installation.

No, in normal circumstances is it very unlikely that they will overcharge the customer. Moreover, they are our authorized installers and the installation price are fixed.

How do I schedule for the installation after I purchase?

Yes, all our models are suitable for both right handed or left handed doors. However, when ordering the product, you can specify to us whether your door is left handed or right handed.

What is the time frame for the installation after purchased?

The time frame for installation is 6 months from your date of purchase. We will send you a friendly reminder periodically. Thereafter storage fee will be imposed on each item.

What does the warranty cover?

Within the first 30 days of purchase Sciener smart digital lock will replace a defective unit at no charge to you and reimburse any shipping charges. After 30 days, Sciener’s obligation and liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole discretion) a defective unit and paying the freight cost of returning the unit to you. Sciener will replace a defective unit at no charge to you and reimburse any shipping charges.

Where should I obtain my warranty service?

In the event of a malfunction or failure of Sciener Smart Digital Lock, please contact your dealer or Sciener directly for further assistance. Please keep your guarantee and proof of purchase (official receipt) safe.

Your warranty remains in effect only if your Sciener Smart Digital Lock;

  • Installed and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided to you at the time of purchase.
  • There is no evidence of tampering, mishandling, neglect, accidental damage, modification, and /or repair done to the Sciener Smart Digital Lock by anyone other than authorized Sciener service personnel.
  • Your warranty registration has been completed and returned to Sciener.

Our models are designed for wooden doors measuring 38mm – 60mm in thickess. Currently our products are not suitable for metal gates and glass doors. For more information, please refer to our product specification details on the brochures.

What types of batteries can I use?

Use 4 x AA-size alkaline batteries. You should not use rechargeable batteries.

How do I know when to replace the batteries?

The Sciener smart digital lock will notify you with beeping sounds.

You can either use the physical keys to open the door or use 9v battery to give emergency power supply that will allow you to key in your PIN to unlock the door.
